As with Bug Jam the week before rain stopped play on Friday at the Mopar Nats. Saturday brought sun and racing and Santa Pod rang to the sound of 440s and Hemis as the fire up lane queue stretched as far as you could see. Check out the full set of photos on flickr here.

Went up to Bug Jam yesterday, it was really muddy when I arrived, took some scary driving to get to my allocated camping across the mud. But it was hot and dry all day and the mud dried out well. Woke up to rain this morning so cleared off quite early. Unfortunately the car died on the M1, fuel pump broken so I had to come the rest of the way on a flatbed. Need to get a pump ordered tomorrow to try and make the Nats next week.
